Gaming in Indianapolis since 2004
Sometime in 2004 Dave Koch invited a few friends over and began playing some of the new designer board games he had discovered. The group's size has varied over the years, but you can count on at least a single table of the best games in world on a weekend at the Indy Board Gamers. The Indy Board Gamers meet in Indianapolis on most Saturdays, except for the 2nd Saturday of the month. We play mostly Euro games, which tend to take 1-2 hours, and provide that great strategy that gamers look for, but don't take the whole afternoon to play.
Out of this group, the 13th Tribe grew in 2007, and in 2008 the first IndyCon invitational event was held. After nearly a decade of gaming, the group has become really good friends, and do more than just games together. If you are interested in joining the Indy Board Gamers and have available time on Saturday afternoons, contact us to find out how to become a part of the group.
